It was smashing to see a lovely comment from Ray, the driver. I'll e-mail Brussels Airlines to see if the Pilot of Flight SN2049 can vouch for my good behaviour on my return to Birmingham. It was good of Mieke & Guy to find somewhere for me to stay in secret. Mario made sure that I had some chocolate very soon after we met. It was really kind that Mieke's Dad got me back to the airport on time. Jan's cheese was excellent. It was good to get some of Dirk and Leen's honey. I always get a buzz from that. It was great to catch up with Sophie - what a nice surprise. I loved looking round the vegetable garden at the castle. It was good to do some performing again. My foot certainly let me know that I had done some. It was fine again the next day thank goodness. The Saturday evening spent with friends was very convivial. I enjoyed having a couple of beers. Nice. I'm looking forward to being in Flanders again - very much. Also - Filip reminded me that I said (a couple of years ago) that he should have his own baldrick! Perhaps we can nick Dave Arrowsmith's and send it to him - it seemed to fit ok last time :-) Right - back to the cooking... |

Thank you one and all for a fantastic time in Flanders. It was a real pleasure to convey you on your travels around Brussells and I hope that this will be the first time of many to come. Great pictures and Great memories and you never know you may get me 'dancing' one of these days. |
